Big Stations Diagnostic
The SDM-GS is an integral part of such diagnostic and maintenance systems as SmartLock 300Z, SmartLock 300T and SmartLock 400BS. It generates a significant output when an internal system fault is detected. It is also capable to provide users with privileges necessary to access a functionality or to disable the diagnosed system. The SDM-GS manages diagnostic information regarding sub-SAT, CLC, ZLC, VMMI and MGRC, CDB, Encoder, RBC and SMART I/O.
By using data detected by the SAT subsystem, SDM-GS provides necessary diagnostic information to the yard entities. The Stations Diagnostic and Maintenance (SDM-GS) subsystem is responsible for the storage of date variables generated by Interlocking systems.
The system takes care of station diagnostic and supports the maintenance operator in the ongoing monitoring of the working state of the station equipment.
The system is interfaced, via data link, to the static station equipment; it acquires the status of devices and of the circuit boards composing them. If provided, the system acquires the diagnostic status and measures operative values of the Yard Entities. The obtained information is then stored in a database.
By accessing the information on the operation state of the whole ACS system, stored in the database, the maintenance operator localizes faults, anomalies and performance degradation for each component of the system.
Through different graphical and tabular data representations (geographical representation, apparatus, or alarm list) it is, therefore, possible for the operator to detect the malfunction of the equipment and to figure out the downtime cause.
